Jamis Minerals engages in mining activities and mineral resources trading between West Africa and Industries of China and India.

Our trading arm handles sourcing high and low grade mineral ores based on client’s demand. Our network and relationship with mining communities and organisations around Nigeria and Niger republic gives us access to many ferrous and non-ferrous materials. We have years of experience in executing successful mineral contracts for both buyers and sellers alike. We ensure fair play in all our dealings. We follow international business standards and practices to ensure a safe and professional transaction for all parties

Our mining business is registered under the Nigerian law as an indigenous company to carry our Mining & Exploration, Mineral processing and export.

We hold the rights and licenses to explore and mine rich commercial mineral deposits. Such minerals include but are not limited to; Lead ore (pb), Zinc ore (zn), Copper ore (cu), Manganese (mn), Ilmenite (Titanium), Tin, Columbite (Niobium), Monizite (Thorium) etc.

At Jamis Minerals, we are constantly seeking new opportunities to partner with foreign technical partners to expand our mine fields to optimal production.

    Our History

    JAMIS Minerals was founded in 2009 under a business name SGI Limited. Sunshine Global Investment Ltd(SGI Ltd) engages in commodities trading between Nigeria and China, India and UAE. The name JAMIS Minerals came up in year 2015 to focus solely on mining and mineral resources trading. JAMIS Minerals was set up with a vision to become one of the largest producer of non-ferrous materials in West Africa. This we can achieve by focusing on our key pillars managed by experienced executives with extensive knowledge in the Mining industry.

    SAFETY

    Our objective is to set up a work environment where the Company strives to achieve a ZERO harm to the workforce, contractors, clients and visitors as well as for the local communities.

    It is our policy to provide safe working environment for our employees who are our most valued assets. The safety of our employees must be provided for before any job is carried out.

    All Staff(s) of JAMIS Minerals are medically fit. We shall maintain an Insurance Policy against any liability that may result in case of any personnel suffering occupational diseases or any impairment to health resulting from our operation. The Company’s Retainer’s Clinic shall handle all routine medical and emergency cases.

    All our employees attend safety inductions. These inductions comply with usual procedures as well as those specifically introduced for each project. Our employees receive safety training on regular basis and are specifically briefed in relation to particular hazards on each project. The minimum standard for each employee is to be provided with safety helmet and safety boots; furthermore, Personal Protection Equipment is provided to all employees as required.

    JAMIS Minerals shall ensure that all sub-contractor(s) operations are performed in accordance with this Policy Statement if the need arise.
